Loving You Swing Dress

Absolutely love the nostalgia this dress provides. It fits true to size, BUT the bust portion could be made a little better for the price. Nonetheless, it’s still a great piece to add to my Barbie collection.

I was soooo excited to finally see this dress come to life as it is one of my favorites. So much so that I considered reaching out to a tailor for a custom dress. Imagine my excitement when this launched in the pre-orders. That's where the good things end. The execution is beyond disappointing. The fabric is so thin and poorly sewn, I thought for sure this would tear at try-on. This is the exact same quality as my Halloween costumes. The boning is one of the worst parts. Plastic, flimsy, sharp and it will scrape you up all night. Usually boning works as a bra, but this does not. The cut of the bust ensures your bra, at your sternum, will be showing all night. I'm not against showing a little bra. Where this peaks out makes you feel cheap. The cuteness does not unfortunately override all the bad. This dress at best is worth $60.
