Floral Print Empire Waist Jersey Maxi Dress

The print is gorgeous. I have several loveappella dresses including several in this model/cut both solid colored and patterned. The dress cut itself is very flattering and nice however the fabric and print qualities are very inconsistent in my experience. This one however, has in my opinion a fatal flaw. The fabric is fairly thick / heavy (which I like) for a jersey blend -- unfortunately when worn the heavy weight pulls down the under-bust/waist area and it stretches the poorly dyed fabric to reveal the white base fabric. This creates a tacky and mis-match look. Disappointing for an otherwise basic viscose/jersey dress at this price. These dresses also tend to pill after a handful of washes which definitely makes any underlying flaws harder to overlook.
