I don’t understand how these are supposed to be a loose fit and they run 2 sizes small. I normally wear a 28, I ordered these in a 29 and they’re still too tight. Free people seems to be running about 2 sizes off recently.

My favorite
The sizing of these pants is very inconsistent but once you figure out what size is best, the fit is beautiful! I originally tried on a 28 which is my reg size. They wouldn’t even go up my thighs. I went up to a 30 and they fit well but after wearing them they became very loose. So I settled for a 29 and the fit is perfect. I may eventually go down to a 28 because they loosen up the more you wear them. I wish they had other colors because these are my absolute favorite!
