Lorena Wedge Sneaker (Women)

These sneakers are SO cute! I love the color and design, they would work great to wear to the office. I wanted to keep them so badly, but they did not work for me. I ordered both regular (medium) and wide, but the tow box is just too narrow and my toes feel squished. It's really too bad because the style is there, just not the fit.

The brown herringbone is ADORABLE, I absolutely love the look of this shoe. It's also comfortable on the foot and seems true to size (though I agree the laces are too short). However, they didn't think the design through very well. While the (nicely removable) insole is very comfortable and cushiony, it lifts your heel up so high that the shoe slips on the heel with every step. I took out the insole just to see how it fit otherwise, and it's perfect. Hits above the heel exactly where it should to keep everything secure. They designed the base of the shoe to fit well, and didn't account for the 3/4" of padding the insole adds to the heel. I'm torn on whether I want to try and make it work with a different insole, it's not an inexpensive shoe, and it may be hard to justify having to buy a different insole just to make it work. In the future, I hope they consider the final product when making their measurements, it's absolutely a major design error.
