Loove Doodles Millie Cardigan

I bought this sweater loving all of the "doodles" and was eager to wear it during this Valentine's season. The first time I wore it was Feb 12 and paired it with a simple beaded 24" necklace (nothing that can snag). By the end of the day, the sleeves and the chest area where the necklace rubbed back and forth while moving left pilling to where it looked like it was a overworn sweater. The simple everyday friction of any arm movement left the sides and sleeves a mess of little pill balls all up and down each arm. While I love the sweater and have now worn it, I don't feel I can return it. :( At full price, the fiber content is "discount store" quality. I have several pieces of Cinq a Sept and have been happy with them but this one was made with inferior yarns and is deeply disappointing. Read the fiber content: "38% recycled polyester, 31% polyester, 24% acrylic, 5% wool, 3% spandex, Dry clean". Who uses recycled polyester, polyester, and acrylic in a $365 sweater??? It's lovely and fun but I would wait until it is half price or less to buy!!! Sorry I didn't take any pictures before having to "shave it" to remove the pill balls or I would have been eager to share them.
