Long Sleeve Denim Maxi Shirtdress

There are some who seem to be stating a sizing issue with this dress. I am normally a 2, XS or S and the XS fits me fine. I am not particularly busty, but not flat at a 32C and have no problem buttoning the bust area. The issue is not sizing, rather it is style and cut. The dress is nearly straight up and down, and does not make allowances for curves. It simply is not cut or styled for a curvy women. If you have been graced with a nice figure, get a dress with a bust, waist and hip allowance and show off those curves!

I purchased an XL, and there is no way it should not have fit. The oddest part, not being particularly busty, is that it is tight across the chest. Thus, I will have to return it. It is unfortunate as I would have purchased the other color as well had it worked out. I like the styling and the material. So many shirtdresses have material that is so light as to need a layer underneath them.

This is an absolutely beautiful denim coat dress. I gave it 5 stars because it really is nice. However, I’m returning it because it does not fit me. I am a plus size woman and the extra large simply didn’t fit. This dress is not made for a plus size woman. I typically wear a 16 sometimes 18 and I could not even button the dress. I would highly recommend it but not if you are plus size. I really crushed my heart because I really wanted the dress but it just wasn’t the right size. For anyone else, I would recommend you order up because my sister who wears extra small in clothing bought the small one and it fit her and she’s keeping hers.
