Long Lace A-line Three Quarter Sleeve Gown

Dress is very well made, has “bones” in the waist section. Is fully lined with two layers. The lace is beautiful and actually has little shiny rhinestones in it! Which I love. The color is not as pink as in the Nordstrom picture… I was going to put a nice pink full slip between the lace and the sheath but that is impossible as the lace is stuck onto the top half of the dress (bodice). The arms are big enough for chubby arms. I’m 5.7, 188 lbs and first ordered the size 14, because my body measurements were inbetween. It was too big and very long! Swapped it out for a smaller size 12. Fits better but a little too big in the chest area (my bust is 40” across). I wore 2” heels and it was still dragging on the floor. So I’ve now ordered a size 10. All in all a very pretty dress.

Very disappointed with this brand. The dress was shipped directly from La Femme and I received it today. It is clearly a used/returned dress as the plastic garment bag protecting the dress was ripped open on the bottom with half the bottom sealed and the other half ripped open by the previous customer so they could remove the dress. The dress was hanging out of the bottom of the dress because of this. When I examined that area I then noticed a large tear in the dress at the bottom. I didn't even remove it from the plastic to try it on so I couldn't review how it fits. It will be immediately returned. The champagne color appears more pinkish, not champagne at all, and the dress looks and feels outdated and old as though it's been hanging on the rack for years. I will not be looking at other La Femme dress for my son's wedding because of this unfortunate experience. La Femme quality control needs to do a better job.
