Comfortable and stay in place
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving these! I have a pair of adidas pants from a few years ago that are very similar, but they’ve since been discontinued. I wear them under my snow pants every time I hit the mountains, so I was thrilled to find something with a similar fit.
It’s not snowboard season yet, but what I love about both my discontinued adidas pants and these is the high-waisted, secure waistband paired with leggings that are conforming without being too tight. The fit keeps them securely in place without any need to constantly adjust them.
The high waist is also perfect for tucking in my base-layer shirt, which helps make sure snow never finds its way onto my lower back.
And one more bonus: they’re squat-proof! So if I decide to ditch the snow pants for après ski, I can still look cute and feel comfortable.
For reference, I’ve also bought and returned their long volleyball tights, which have a similar look with the high waist and thin, secure waistband. I found those to be much constricting and not nearly as comfortable.
Also want to note, sometimes people complain about how tight the waist band is. It is narrow and secure so it can make a muffin top. But I don’t mind a tiny muffin too if it means I am comfortable and don’t need to constantly be adjusting my pants.
