What it is: A no-frills, thick-textured liquid hand soap.
What it does: This plant-based formula is made with antioxidant sea buckthorn, rosemary leaf to soothe and sugar cane to cleanse. It pairs basil with verbena, a citrusy and vegetal alternative to most aromatic notes, which increases each facet of the basil. The soap comes in a bottle with an easy-to-use pump.
How to use: Lather onto wet hands, then rinse.

great product
Smells great and the scent lingers. I love Le Labo products. The value for the jumbo size is not a huge steal though, in my opinion. If you buy 2 of the smaller version you’re only paying $6 more and you’re actually getting a tiny bit more in volume. So if this sells out… just get two regular sized.

Egads What's that Smell?
I had to return this. The smell is over-powering . . . like a rotting lime grove. I never did pick up any notes of 'basil' as advertised. It was a cloying smell too -- one you could not get rid of no matter how many times you washed your hands in something else. It was also very drying. And in a teeny tiny bottle thus WAY over-priced. Give it a miss!

Dries out your hands
Those soap is severely stripping and will dry out your hands. Has no moisturizing properties whatsoever.

Scrumptious
This soap has a bright clean distinctively Le Labo fragrance that is great. Your hands are actually fragranced when you finish using this so you get to enjoy the smell beyond your hand washing session. I use this in the kitchen and I think is absolutely fantastic for tough smells like garlic. Definitely has citrus characteristics but in a sweet way, not sour like bergamot.

A thousand stars
Le Labo’s hand soap has been a staple in my home for 2 years now - tried it at an upscale restaurant next to Nordy’s a few years ago and immediately went to purchase. Makes washing hands a joy. Have it in basil and hinoki, side by side so depending on the day (mood / season, whatever) I pick and choose. Love giving this as a gift. This moisturizes, cleans, and smells fantastic.

A fan of the scent
I am a fan of the scent but the lotion has absolutely 0 moisturizing agents for my hands. I have to follow with some type of lotion or cream.
