What it does: This plant-based formula is made with avocado to nourish, sunflower to protect and rosemary to tone. It's scented with the classic freshness of bergamot and lavender edged with the coolness of violet and tonka bean.

The one stop shop for the perfect aftershave
Tasteful sent ! Fragrant . Makes me look forward to shaving . The added compliments on the fragrance is a plus . People will stop and ask you what are you wearing. I use this aftershave daily. I was turned off about the price at first , however I decided to suck it up and buy it. I love it !!! Makes a great gift ! Wanted to write a review and share.

used tubes
I ordered two of these items for in-store pick up. When I picked up the items and brought them home, I looked at the tubes and they completely looked like they were used as “tester” tubes. The packaging is the tube only and the tube was all mangled l, scratches and indented like other people had opened and tested the product from the tubes. Part of the problem is La Labo products don’t come in boxes nor do they have protective seals when you unscrew the cap. I had purchased these and other La Labo products as gifts. There’s no way these are presentable as they look used. Nordstrom needs to do better and not sell items that have been damaged or used.

Don’t squeeze the tube
I is not a fan of the product. It is very liquidity. Don’t need to squeeze the tubat all, the product will come out by itself like water. However, the smell is amazing. It does feel just like other liquid after shave.

The bomb of balms
After trying dozens of after shave balms, I finally found the perfect one. Le Labo has an aloe vera consistency and makes your skin feel smooth and soft yet not at all gummy or greasy. After you apply it, you can’t tell that you put anything on your face. The scent is very faint and subtle and just has a clean slightly citrus smell. Le Labo also seems like a very good deal because you don’t need very much and it comes in a giant tube.

best of the menthol free after shave balms
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm not a fan of shaving cream/gel or aftershaves that include menthol as the "cooling" ingredient. If you're like me, look no further -- this after-shave soothes without menthol, which seems ideal for sensitive skin. As others have noted, it's a bit runny (I can't even set the tube on its side while washing my hands without leakage), so use the turning key conservatively as opposed to turning until the liquid almost reaches the top. Still, the product itself works quite well and a little goes a long way. Yes, it's expensive for what it is, but it's better than turning into Kevin from Home Alone afterwards!
