What it is: A powder that visibly eliminates shine and controls oil breakthrough thanks to the naturally derived Shine Control Complex.
What it does: The velvety pressed powder is ideal for touch-ups throughout the day so makeup stays fresh, flawless and shine-free. The lightweight powder is ultra-sheer with a mint-green tint that works to correct redness and visibly even skin tone.
How to use: Begin by using a sponge applicator to pick up powder from the compact using a dabbing motion. Lightly press onto the back of your hand to evenly dispense the product. Next, using a light, patting motion, gently press the sponge onto your skin. Apply all over, paying special attention to shine-prone areas such as the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. As with all setting powders, apply after any creamy formulas, including cream blush.

LET ME START BY SAYING, I'VE TRIED (SHEER) PRESSED POWDERS FROM; BARE E. TO CHANEL, MUF, ETC... AND THIS ONE TOPS IT!! ITS NOT MESSY, YOU CAN USE IT AS A LOOSE POWDER BY DUSTING IT WITH A BRUSH, OR ON THE GO WITH THE SPONGE IT COMES WITH.. BY FAR MY FAVORITE!!!!
COVERS EFFORTLESSLY AND MAKES MY MAKEUP LOOK 5X BETTER.

The worst powder I’ve tried
Awful! It made me look blue/grey so I had to use another powderbon too to add some colour, but still didn’t look right. Total waste of money!

Great for oily skin
This powder is great over makeup and perfect for hot, humid weather. It gives you a matte look. When it first goes on, it has a very light green, almost white tint to it, but after you blend it, it totally eliminates any shine. The application pad that comes with it has two sides - one for a light application (softer side) and one for heavier application (spongier). I would definitely recommend this!!

Great Product
Ever since I started using Bare Minerals Bare Skin, my face is super dewy and oily by the afternoon. I also have sensitive skin and use strong rx's for my acne, so that could also be a factor. That aside, this product has totally revolutionized my makeup routine. I blot it on before applying foundation, and my face stays matte all day. Sometimes I touch up in the afternoon, but most days, I don't have to. My skin also has a bit of a red undertone, so the green tint is perfect for combatting that. It also doesn't clog my pores!

Subtile Effect
I was looking for a powder that would mattify my skin during the warmer weather. Applied in the center of the face/T-Zone over foundation this product was a disappointment because it showed up a little on the skin and I thought it is probably better for very pale skin tones. However, after learning to apply it with a very light hand and all over the face I'm very happy with my purchase. This powder works great in diffusing the light and the appearance of pores leaving the skin looking satin NOT matte. It also reduces redness. Used correctly it's nice over foundation and magnificent on bare skin.

Excellent shine control!
Love this product! During the day, shine happens on the face .. it's inevitable. With this setting powder, the shine disappears and the feeling is like air on the skin .. not heavy at all!!! I would recommend to anyone who needs a product to control a shiny face. It's worth the money!!

Genius mattifyer
I believe this may be a genius product. But I am not 100% certain yet, since I have only been using it for a few days. I need to get used to using a powder that actually works. I think I may have been over applying, as I was used to doing before with my old pressed powders. So, early on in the day, I was able to see the powder settling into my pores. But by the end of the day, my face was still matte, and this has never been the case in the past. So I am happy. I will just have to get used to the idea of a green tint. I believe it goes on without the color, but I am always worried that someone will notice that I have a slight minty green finish. And I left off one star because the powder has already flaked off slightly onto my clothes a couple times. But overall, I am impressed.
