L'Artiste Fantastic Lace-Up Boot

Bought the brown and oh so pretty. I do have to size way up on L’Artiste brand. I am a true 10 but have to order a 42 in this brand which states it’s 10.5-11 but works perfect for me as a 10. Love this boot!! Can’t wait for cooler weather to wear this one.

The boots are beautifully made. It's just too bad that the sizing on L'Artiste shoes and boots isn't standardized. I normally wear European size 41-42, but these boots ran VERY small.

These boots are cute but they have a very strong chemical smell to them . Im going to air them out if the smell doesn’t go away I’ll have to return them

I love these boots - except they run a size too small so I have to return. I have slight bunions and these didn't bother them or make my feet feel squeezed. But my big toes just hit the front of the toe box. They seem well constructed and the blue is just beautiful. But the first thing I noticed about these shoes was the very strong chemical smell that I could smell even before I opened the box. I had to immediately put the box and shoes in the garage because the smell is so strong. I'm pretty sure that if I left the open box with the shoes in my stairway, I could fumigate my entire 3,000 sq. ft house, upstairs and downstairs in just one night. You may think that's an exaggeration, but it's not. Even the socks I used to try on the shoes retained the smell. It's a very strong, acrid smell that smells like it shouldn't be around living things that would like to continue to live. I'll probably find dead spiders in the garage in the morning. 3 stars due to the smell, 4 stars due to running small, would have been five stars without those two issues.

Adorable and works with my bunion! Getting a zillion compliments. I usually wear a 8.5 or 9. These are 9s.

Reading the prior reviews I was concerned about size, but these were true to size and width, plus a generous toe cap. The side zip is great for quick on, off. I get what the one commenter was saying on smell but they’re painted so am guessing it’s from that. Am not worried at all that that smell won’t fade fast. They’re super comfortable and gorgeous, great style at a terrific price!
