Large Jaw Clip

Beautiful claw, but not for thick hair. I purchased these online with the hopes they'd work for holding my hair in a twisted pony tail. I'd seen a woman in Nordstroms with a very attractive hair style, and was bold enough to ask her how she managed such a beautiful ponytail held with a clip, instead of a scrunchie. She said she bought the claw at Nordstroms, and it had a flat top. I live in Bellingham, and was short on time, so ordered on line when I got home. Distinctive claws, but they really don't hold my hair securly. I will use them, but not for the original purpose. 100 % better than the drug store variety. I gave a 4 star because it's not for thick hair in a twist.

I want to love these clips. The quality and feel of the material is much nicer than what you’ll find in Target, Ulta, etc. However, this is my second clip where the spring snapped in less than a year. It’s so disappointing, especially when considering the cost. I’d expect it to last years, not months.

I use this clip on my wet and dry hair, and it works great for both types of hair. It is long enough to hold all of my shoulder length hair with layers; I have found other clips to be difficult in keeping the layers in. It does not snag or pull my hair out, either. It is well-made, and I consider it one of my hair accessory staples. I love it!
