Blake 14K Gold Lariat Necklace

I had my eye on this necklace for three years. Finally broke down and bought it and was elated to wear it. It's absolutely gorgeous. Before buying it, I read some of the reviews about how it tangles a lot. Ignored those reviews since I wanted it badly, however I have to agree. This necklace tangles for me after 5-10 minutes of wearing it. I wanted so bad to like it but no. I have to untangle it every 10 minutes and as the others stated, you have to be super careful because it's delicate. For a necklace this high in price I honestly expected more and was pretty bummed after returning it. When I was returning it the cashier asked me if it gets tangled. I replied "yes, why?". She replied "my co-worker and I were just talking about that. This necklace doesn't sell for that reason and when it does, people always return it." Now if the Nordstrom employee is saying this, that speaks volumes about the product. Many many other people have this same problem.

This necklace gets in a tangled mess within 30 minutes of putting it on. I love it but have tried to wear it 4 times and every time had to remove it, untangle it and put it back on. This last time it was so tanlgled before we even got to dinner that i just left it in the car. Evidently this is a probelm with the petite blake as well that is currently on sale. That one has small discs on the hanging part so i had hoped that might make a difference. According to reviews of that one it also becomes tangled--please note it is NOT just the hanging parts that get in a knot--it's the entire necklace. Luckily i still have the tag and receipt and will return it even thought i received it last Xmas...it's just too difficult to wear/enjoy.

I wanted to this necklack so and I was excited to finally get it for my my BD but to my disappointment I am returning it. To pay over 500$ for something and cant wear it a huge let down. It constantly tangles and wheny you take it off to untanlge it.....not an easy task! I can use my money else where and on something that does not casue me problems.

This necklace is a beautiful piece to add to any collection; however, the delicacy of the gold strands ALWAYS cause a tangled mess. Once it's tangled, it's stressful to untangle the bugger! I bought this during the Anniversary Sale and am debating on exchanging it for something I don't have to wrestle with... *sigh

Really cute necklace but requires a lot of work. Bought this necklace about a month ago and have been wearing it almost everyday. Really cute but like other reviewers said it does get tangled after an hour or so. I'm still debating whether or not to keep it because it requires removal and untangling every so often if you wear it for the whole day. Thinking of exchanging it with the Tri-disc necklace because I'm afraid that the constant tangling will cause it to eventually break. Would recommend it if you're only wearing it for an hour or two.
