Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation Sunscreen SPF 15

I am 100% happy with this foundation, my complexion looks even, bright and creamy and that is exactly what I wanted plus it feels so good on my face. You need a very small amount to cover the whole face, a dot on the forehead, dot on the nose, chin, one on each cheek and one midway between the jaw and cheekbones and that's it. I use my fingers to apply blending out and down. This makeup gets better as the day goes on, so no need to reapply ever. The concealer is very nice, not creamy but very concentrated and I use the it as a subtle highlighter on the top of my cheekbones as I am fiercely loyal to the Sisley concealers. I almost forgot to write that my bottle has lasted two years and counting, just make sure you use plenty of moisturizer. I also would like to address people who comment on the low SPF rating, people get your UVA/UVB protection from your moisturizer not your makeup. If I sound like a know-it-all it's because I have been a makeup professional for too many decades.

I was skeptical but with the reviews I thought I would try this product. The reviews were not hype. The foundation leaves the skin smooth, uniform, clean looking and young! Just like clean young skin. I love it and figure that instead of wasting $$ going from foundation to foundation and just stay with this product, I will be $$'s ahead. Also for the concealer part; if you take some between your fingers and warm it up before applying it works great. If you take it as is with the brush it just does not look good. Try warming it up and then applying.

This foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation. You can sheer it out to a medium coverage if you use a little and work it into the skin and/or use a wet beauty blender when applying it. You only need a little of it to cover your entire face so it will last you a very long time. It drys to a semi-matte finish on my skin, but I do have dry skin. Since I have dry skin I mix this foundation with one pump of my Chanel Vitalumiere foundation. I was told by the beauty expert online that "warm beige" in this foundation would match my skin based on my current foundation and concealer, but the shade they suggested was a little dark. I normally wear the shade sand in Bobbi Brown's concealer and 07 Ivory in Chanel Vitalumiere foundation. Even though it's a little dark, I mix it with my Chanel foundation and that works. Next time I buy this foundation I will get one shade lighter. The concealer on top of the foundation is a little drying. It's too drying for under my eyes and around my nose. I would use it to conceal blemishes and marks. If you have normal or combo skin then the concealer would work for you. It's a great foundation, but the price is ridiculous!

I've been using this foundation for almost 10 years. Liked the older version (in the frosted glass) much more but the new version is still the best foundation on earth. I use the shade Warm Linen which is a perfect match for me. It doesn't really feel like a typical foundation, it's so hydrating and smoothing because of the additional skin care benefits. Makes pores disappear illuminates your skin and and just makes your skin look flawless and natural at the same time. My advice is to not use too much. A littles goes a long way. It's expensive, yes but totally worth it because you only have one face and it's of paramount importance to take care of it. The concealer is also perfect to conceal under-eye darkness or other imperfections on the skin. Gives me so much joy using this gem every morning!

I wish that someone has mentioned the super strong, overpowering smell of cheap nivea cream. I tested the foundation on my forearm first, and had to wash it off within five minutes as the odor was making me nauseous. Even after washing it off with soap, the smell remained. Too bad as it felt quite nice on the skin. Would love a fragrance free version.

Love it, great for dry skin-also try Hourgalss illusion tinted moisturizer-more of a foundation-I really love it!! I have tried so many foundations-MAC, Laura Mercier, Estee Lauder, Lancome-most recent teint idole cushion compact which isn't bad, Tom Ford, Becca, and I could keep naming them, but you get the picture-THESE TWO ARE ON THE VERY BEST EVER!!!! They might be too moisturizing if you have really oily skin, but for me, they are perfection!! I spray MAC mineralize on a brush and swirl in Laura Mercier Candle light and gently tap on over my foundation-perfect combination-sets my foundation without the cakey look. And my skin glows!!!
