The Powder Brush

This brush is the ultimate brush for an airbrush , flawless finish. I think it is the magic brush. The price point is up there, but one of the best beauty product investments I've made. I am 69, and I can use all the help I can get for a beautiful, finished complexion. I put a small amount of Guerlain finishing powder on than sweep the La Mer brush all over my face and somehow, like magic I have a beautiful , flawless appearance . Love this brush!

What a soft and useful brush. This is a synthetic which makes it rather expensive. However, it works beautifully. I use it to apply any powder. One important note: when I first opened it and smelled it ( yep, kind of odd) it had a strange, chemically smell. I immediately gave it a quick bath. Once it dried it was ultra fluffy and so soft, and all the smell was gone. Likely, some kind of treatment to keep the brush looking good? At any rate, it is a luxurious brush that fits great on the face. I have lots of brushes but this is one I use regularly.

I was hesitant to spend this much on a makeup brush, but I’m glad I did, The super soft, yet dense fibers make the application of powder a completely different experience. The end result is a smooth and flawless finish. I now wear powder without foundation unless I’m going out in the evening. This brush will probably last many times longer than a cheaper one. I would buy again.

I watched Michele Wang review her 10 favorite brushes and this was one. I already have fude brushes (Chikuhodo z1 and Mk-ko & ML-km) that have longer natural hair and are very soft but this is much much fuller. It is wonderful for loose powder. The bristles are synthetic - and pick up a nice amount of powder. Not as soft as natural hair but I really liked the way you could rotate it using all of the bristles. If you can take you price - it’s a nice brush to add.

This brush is amazing. It's suuuuper soft, like one of the sheisheido brushes, but more dense and bigger! I saw it on line and stalked my local la mer counter and when they had it I rushed in. The first time you feel it, you will want it. It's waaaaay better than the other powder brush they offer (which I find is kinda scratchy). This is awesome, like a big powder puff but in a super soft brush form.

I was looking for a powder brush and added this to my cart with about four others - I almost wish I hadn't so that I would have settled for a lower quality brush - this one is the hands down forever and always winner! I can not even rave about it enough. Absolute perfect size, picks up and deposits my pressed powder like a dream (no need to touch the brush to the compact more then once), it is probably the softest thing ever to have touched my face, and its just beautiful to look at.
