Great for cold city weather
Picked these up after wearing the low tops and wanted the same comfort with added ankle support. They delivered. The first few wears were a bit stiff getting them on, but they break in quickly. The thick insole makes cold days around the city feel cushioned—almost like walking on a cloud. The Vibram outsole inspires confidence when scrambling to the crag. Solid ankle support without feeling restrictive. A non-insulated version with the same build would be a great addition.

Foot will not fit
Really wanted to buy this but when tried at the store my feet simply wouldn’t fit the entrance of the shoe. It took a lot of effort. Looks cool but really bad design

arcteryx.com response
Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the Kragg Insulated Sho. We’re sorry to hear the fit didn’t work out for you. While we designed this style with a snug, sock-like entry to help seal in warmth and weather protection, we understand that it can feel restrictive depending on foot shape and volume. Your feedback is incredibly valuable as we continue refining our footwear designs, and we’ll be sure to pass it along to our product team. We appreciate your interest and hope you’ll find a style that fits comfortably and performs just as well.

Comfy and warm
These shoes are pretty great. Room for improvement but overall awesome.
I have wide feet and went a half size up and they fit well. They are very comfortable and very warm as long as you aren’t just standing around for a while outside. I’ve worn them with wool socks in single digits and been fine on walks.
Someone complained about moisture management but to be clear these are not waterproof, just insulated. Would love to see a waterproof version in the future. Winter is cold and wet so it would make a lot of sense.
Agree with another review that the toe area can be a bit uncomfortable at first. This is because of the hard rubber overlay upfront.
I’d ignore reviews where people say they are hard to put on. They are not slip on shoes, they are pull on, so yes, you do need to pull them on.

Warm feet at last
Warm as intended, and great traction on ice, and stylish in a distinctive way. Just a little bit uncomfortable to pull on, has me hunting around for a long shoehorn, but I’m sure that will stretch out over time.

Will purchase again
So freakin cool and comfortable.
Wish they did some more colors and blocking like the lowtop but the carob/black is really nice.
Hope they continue to make these
