Mon Cheri Lace Cocktail Dress

This was a very cute dress overall. The fit was a little snug on me (I'm an 18W and ordered the 2X). The fabric is nice and heavy, with the arms being a stretch lace. A good weight for colder weather formal events. I have a bridal shower to attend and this would have been great. That being said, I'm more of an apple shape and sadly the style did not suit me body type. I LOVED the pockets and wish it fit a little better on me. A larger size wouldn't have helped, because the length and proportions would have been off everywhere else. I run into this from time to time, being on the shorter side (5'4) and full figured. If you are a little taller than me, or have a more curvy shape... this would be a great dress. It's form fitting, but the fabric has stretch to it and conforms to your shape in the torso and flows out nicely. If my general shape wasn't so full/round in the middle, I could have pulled this off. It was an almost for me.

Very heavy weight material. Only good for people that are short-waisted.

It’s very pretty in the picture, but the material was itchy, heavy and resembled a bedspread. It also did not flatter my hourglass shape. I unfortunately had to return.
