Ava Ballet Flat

I thought my foot size was 8.5. When I visited Nordstrom's brick and mortar, I usually found a delightful choice of styles that fit. The ordering electronically was a new experience. The Vionics were too big and wobbly, as were the Naturalizer and Taos. This Nordstrom Ava Ballet flat came the closest, although I had to adjust one shoe toe with lamb's wool in order to keep my foot in place in the shoe, but whose feet are the exact same size? The Ava is soft leather and looks good on the foot. It does not have the instep support of the Vionics or the Taos. As I have no plans for wearing them for hours, I am happy with my purchase. Thanks to Nordstrom for all the help.

These have absolutely no cushion, not even in the heel. Disappointing for this brand as their other shoes are cushioned. The Blue Ash is a beautiful color, but I will be returning as these feel as though you’re standing barefoot.

They were way too big and I had to return them. Probably a full size too big.

I bought these shoes and initially loved them, but they ended up literally skinning my heels and giving both of my feet multiple blisters. I’ve had to bandage my feet to even put socks on for over a week now. Not worth it in my opinion.

Very comfortable shoe! Good foot padding, nice quality leather with non -lip sole. Because these are flats I had to go up a half size and went with a wide width.

Very pretty shoe - love the detailing on the heel and the color! I normally wear a 6.5, medium width. These are a little snug across the widest part of my foot - will need to wear a no-show sock or padding to keep from rubbing.
