Not very absorbent.

They are attractive and soft. Price seemed too good to be true and now I know why. Cotton quality. While it’s listed as 100% cotton, it’s 50% natural and 50% recycled cotton. Not sure what has been recycled but whatever it was it doesn’t absorb well. For a dish towel, absorbing liquids is essential. They dry pretty quickly and don’t wrinkle so “look” nice. Would not buy again.
