Kit High Waist Ankle Baggy Straight Leg Jeans

Just received these as part of my Anniversary Sale order and I’m on the fence about keeping them. While I love the straight leg (slightly baggy but only slightly), the buttonhole at the waist is extremely small, which makes buttoning and unbuttoning difficult. I’m hoping I can stretch this opening out, if not these jeans are going back.

For reference, I'm 5'3"/ 140 lbs athletic build. These fit my body perfectly and have become one of my new favorites. I find KUT petite lengths awkward because they are usually too short, especially on their ankle length jeans. Since these are ankle length, I stayed with the regular inseam at my usual size 4. They are loose in all the right areas without overwhelming my frame or being too fabric-y at my knees. However, they are not as loose or slouchy on my body as the model shows. The rise and length are perfect, and I like the material of these jeans better than some of my other KUT jeans because they aren't too stretchy but also not rigid at all.

Ordered these from the anniversary sale and they definitely are not baggy – at least not for someone with thicker thighs. I wear a 12 petite across the board and these fit pretty small as another reviewer said the button on this is horrible! It’s really hard to get buttoned. I think that has to do with the fabrication of the jeans. As far as I’m concerned, these did not look like the picture on the model. It did look like or similar to the picture in the video sadly returning.

I absolutely love these. As a 5’2” person with short legs, I have never found a pair of ankle jeans that aren’t too long. These are perfect. I usually wear a size 10 but needed an 8 in these
