Crafted with 3-layer GORE-TEX waterproof technology, this jacket combines robust protection with a cozy warm backer for added insulation on frigid days. It features fully waterproof zippers, a helmet-compatible hood with single-handed adjustment, and a removable powder skirt to keep snow out on deep days. Ample ventilation comes courtesy of pit zips, ensuring we stay cool during steep uphill climbs. Thoughtfully designed with functionality in mind, the Khroma Converge boasts harness-compatible pockets, articulated sleeves for enhanced mobility, and an internal mesh pocket for stashing gloves or snacks. Super high quality hard shell

Super high quality hard shell for cold weather skiing. The fit and materials are top notch and I love the Oak/Dark Pollen color. Definitely too robust for warmer days in the backcountry, but I'll use my Diffuse for that. I'm 6'2", 185 with long arms. Many shells don't work for me due to the sleeve length being too short. This one is literally perfect! Nice work Rab.

Impressive Ski Shell and Weather Protection

I bought this to test the Gore-Tex ePE membrane against traditional ePTFE, and after several days of wet snow and rain, I’m sold. The 80D fabric feels like a suit of armor—burly and protective, yet surprisingly quiet and supple. The flannel backer adds a nice touch of warmth, and the pocket layout is perfect; having four chest pockets accessible while wearing a pack is great for organizing skins, gloves and snacks. The fit is spot-on (True to Size Large), and the collar design is actually superior to most of my Arc’teryx shells—it easily accommodates a helmet and gaiter without feeling restrictive. While the PFAS-free DWR began to wet out after two hours of heavy moisture, the membrane kept me 100% dry.

Excellent jacket and trousers. Very versatile with temperature and conditions. One of the best jackets I have ever owned. Top quality also. very satisfied. Love it!
