Champion Leather Sneaker - Multiple Widths Available

I don't often leave reviews of products but felt I had to. And in reading previous reviews I see that most everyone else has the same complaints that I do.... I am 70 and have bought the Champion leather lace ups for years. They have always fit my feet great and the fit still seems good. However I recently ordered two pair of the white Champions and notice the leather is not the same. It feels hard, like plastic more than leather, which is uncomfortable on your feet and toes, even with socks. And these shoes squeak like crazy. The inside bottom of the shoes are not as cushioned as they were. For such a high price, please return to your previous quality.

I just received these today. I am a Keds lifer. I tried them on and loved the way the new supportive insole felt. However, I am very disappointed in the quality of the leather. They are nothing like the pair I had before. They feel fake and plastic. I really hope they wear well. They look and feel like a cheap knockoff brand. Come on Keds! Do better!!!!!

I use to by these back in the 80’s - and they lasted forever, were sturdy and comfortable - wore them everywhere. Not anymore they need an insole have lost their flair. Leather is thin, footbed is thin, and the shape has changed - not at all like they used to be. Hate to be cliche and say it, but .. “they don’t make them like they use to” …sad connotation on our world that everyone is out for a quick buck. No one sticks to making a quality product that lasts. Leadership, economies, and times change, but a good product should never change. No matter what. Sad. These make me feel like I’m wearing clown shoes. Wore them out after after 3 months.

I recently bought a pair of these for my girlfriend and she is not impressed with these. When she got them and put them on the laces where long had to cut them down to where she can actually tie them and a few days ago she wore them out somewhere and noticed they where starting to separate from the soles. If I could give a zero star rating I would! These sneakers are absolute garbage! Poor quality and made to only last a month. I should have gotten her the Keds Jump Kick's since I hear those last longer than these. The Champions suck!

I loved my leather Champions and ordered a new pair about a month ago. Just got them out and put them on and left the house, thinking all would be good. I ordered the same size, but this this new pair slips off my heal and I do not like the new insole, very uncomfortable. I should have checked before stepping out in them. Take notice!

Tried and true. Have 10 pairs of Champion leather in various states from never worn to used for walking in mud. Only athletic shoes I buy.
