Love!
I got this dress in the mail yesterday and wore it to the salon today and received tons of compliments. I did size down so that it wouldn't look like a tent. I am not flat chested. Bra size 34DD. Pear shaped. Curvy. I wear a size 12 but purchased a M in this dress. Love it! My new summer staple.

Thin fabric
Thin fabric cannot hold a shape and provide the swing to make this dress flattering.

tent dress
This dress looks great on the model. I have a full bust and felt like I was wearing a tent. I have another trapeze dress of a different brand and I do not know what makes this one so different. Had to return. might look better on a small busted gal.

HUGE, but comfy
This dress is indeed, absolutely enormous, as another reviewer mentioned. I got a small, which is my usual size, but it was still huge (I figured the x-small would be too tight in the arms and chest). However, the fabric is very soft and comfortable. Luckily, I can sew, and I took 6 inches off each side at the waist (yes, 6 inches from each side) and it's still huge, but not as ridiculous looking.
I ultimately decided to keep it (and then alter it) because it is super easy to wear, soft and comfy, and goes with anything. I have been wearing it with sandals now, but could easily wear it with tights and boots and a cardi come winter.
We'll see how it holds up. I hope the fabric doesn't start pilling after I've washed and worn it a few times...
The only reason I wouldn't recommend it is because a lot of people don't like to alter their clothes when they're brand new. I have a little more tolerance for it, but I don't think I'm the norm.

CUTE Swing Dress!
Thick enough to skim over the bumpy parts. I wore this the day I got it. I went wine tasting in Northern California & I got praise about it ALL DAY!!! SO Cute! Easy to wear. Swingy. Need statement shoes - I wore peep toe booties & a sparkly drop necklace.

No Brainer
I love basics -- if you are the same, you will love this.
I just wish it were a little longer in the front, in case I wanted to wear it belted. Originally purchased with the intent on wearing it belted as well as not. Feel that it's a bit short in the front for my comfort level with a belt, but maybe that's me being modest.
Great quality -- I collect navy blue dresses as they are sleek, classy, can be dressed up and are just a smart casual look. Great for travel. Love it.

Maggie Cap Sleeve Trapeze Dress
I love this dress by Karen Kane! The fabric is so soft, but sturdy and not too thin. The dress drapes and moves well, without being clingy. The design is simple and it comes in beautiful colors. The dress is comfortable and looks great for work or going out on the weekend. It doesn't wrinkle so it's also great for travel. It runs true to size. No need to order a larger size. I bought it in several colors. It's a nice style that really flatters a pear-shaped figure.
