Jordie Gingham Sleeveless Maxi Dress

I purchased this dress in spite of the bad reviews I read because I thought I’d give it a chance personally. I’ll give it 2 stars for being 100% cotton but the design has too many flaws. First you cannot adjust the bodice “drawstring” because it’s sewn into the fabric. It’s faux. Also, I’m a small but ordered-the xs due to other reviews and it was about the right fit but the top was loose and couldn’t be adjusted, the cinching elastic around the waists was not done correctly either. Sooo much potential but this is a 15 dollar SHEIN like quality dress for $174? Nope.

Purchased online but the top was a bit more open and low for this dress to be ok for both work and play. The top was a bit looser than expected.

Bought this a bit ago. And too late to return. Purchased a small which should fit and it does except the smocking around the waste falls really strangely. Maybe it would be better on a taller person ? I’m 5’5 130 pounds and it gathers oddly around the waste falls- sad. Everything else fits and it’s super cute. I think the medium would be too big everywhere else …

This dress is beautiful in person! The fabric has gorgeous detailing. The entire top/bust area was too wide on me causing gaping under the arms and at the middle of the back. The wide width also caused the straps to slip off my shoulders. Bummer, because this dress is beautiful otherwise. If it fits your frame, it will be excellent!

It’s beautiful but it feels like it puckers weirdly around the cinched part and looser on the boob area. It’s too expensive to not return.
