The Blake High Waist Crop Wide Leg Corduroy Jeans

I decided to give these pants a try since I don't have any wide leg cords. After looking at reviews at other sites, I sized up from my usual 28 to sz 29. I wld say these pants look pretty much as in pics including the color, depends on lighting. Waist fit is fine & comfy. A little excess fabric in crotch area & backside, but I did size up. At 5' 3", length falls just below my ankles & I'm ok w/ that. Length works well w/ my ankle booties by falling nicely over the tops of them, pant legs staying in place & not catching on the tops of the booties. After trying on for a few minutes there was a little stretching but not excessive. I'm keeping in mind that these pants are cotton & will shrink a little after washing them. I have a couple of printed tops that seem to work w/ these pants. I have found that a neutral cream color top or chunkly sweater goes well w/ them too. IMO, the sz 29 is tts, mb my usual 28 wld have worked but keeping the 29. 5'3" 117#
