'Mandalaye' Leather Flat

I had been DROOLING over these shoes ever since I saw them released. When I finally purchased them I waited so anxiously to get them and when I did, they were still amazing and even better in person! I put them on and though they were very true to size as far as length, they were SOOOOO narrow. Now I'm a petite girl and so my feet aren't huge but a little wide (even though I've never had to order a shoe in a Wide) so these beautiful shoes tore me up!!! If you have anything other than a narrow foot, be warned. With great sadness I returned them.

I can only wear flats in the summer and fall because I live in a snowy/Icey climate. So, when I do buy my flats, I always opt for Jessica Simpsons. I admired this woman's business acumen, and think shoes are her calling. Her high heels are tacky, but dang, Jessica and her team make some cute and comfy flats! These ballerina shoes are dainty and elegant. They have a nice sole that has about 1 inch of rubber on the outer sole by the ankle. I love how the ankle straps give my foot a bit of stability. My only complaint is that the toe bed does not cover the entire toe. About one inch of my toes are uncovered. Beautiful show for the price! No one would guess a former popster made these!

I was looking for a ballet flat that had some kind of strap that would keep my heel from falling out. I came across these, read the positive reviews so decided to give them a try. I usually wear a size 8, so ordered these in that size and they fit just fine. I bought in both the black and the metallic silver. While it's true that they don't have a lot of arch support, they are still super comfortable. It felt like I was wearing slippers on a cloud! Hardly any breaking in time... although I did put anti-chafing glide all over my feet before wearing them (which I always do when wearing new shoes/certain shoes to prevent chafing and blistering). I was also concerned that they would rub my bunions the wrong way and hurt... but it did not happen. I did have some toe sweating occur as one of the other reviewers mentioned. But I could live with that... I like them that much. I've only worn the black ones so far, with rolled up denim and I thought the look was really cute. I'm hoping to wear them to a gala at work that is coming up next month. I feel like I can be on my feet all day in them!

Love the shoes, unfortunately they didn't love me! Shows were cute , true to size. Unfortunately, after 2 hours, they rubbed the back of my ankles raw. I put a bandaid on to help with the friction, but the blister had already formed. I was at a big meeting and had to do walking back and forth. Needless to say, I drove home barefoot. Will be returning

This shoe is adorable.The leather is so soft and comfortable. The squared toe reminds me so much of my "ballerina" days. I truly wanted to keep this shoe because of its unique fit on my long slim feet. However, after wearing them for a couple of hours around the house I noticed my feet felt tingly. Not even thinking about the shoes, after taking them off, I no longer had the tingly feeling. So, although I have a true love for them, I will have to return them knowing that I cannot wear them out and have a problem with comfort after a day's wear. I think the cute criss, cross strap may have been the culprit in this shoe for me. Nonetheless, if you like cute, different, stylish, one-of-a-kind shoes, give them a try.
