Chaby Trench Coat

I was genuinely fascinated by the design of the coat — it stood out in such a unique and refreshing way, and I was really excited about it. The style was different from anything I’ve seen, and I was looking forward to receiving something so distinctive. Especially for that price. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being a bit disappointing. The coat arrived crammed into a small 11x11x7 USPS box, which didn’t seem fitting for a piece that should have been treated with more care, especially that it says only dry clean. On top of that, there were loose threads coming out of the buttonholes, and the signature J buckle, which was supposed to be a key detail, was missing altogether. The fit was another major letdown. I typically wear a US size 4–6 and I’m 5'6", but this felt like I had slipped into an oversized coat from someone else's closet. The sleeves were far too long and hung awkwardly, and overall, it looked and felt more like an XL — nothing like the sleek, tailored image shown online. It’s just a shame the presentation and finishing didn’t reflect that price tag. I had taken time to research the brand on various platforms and decided to give it a try, hoping it would live up to the standard of other luxury labels. But if you're entering a competitive market like the U.S. and positioning yourself among international luxury brands, this level of quality simply isn't acceptable. Sadly, I won’t be purchasing from this brand ever again, and I definitely do not recommend wasting your time or money on this.
