Beautiful and simple but runs small

Just received these beautiful patent slides. I’m 8.5 to 9 US and ordered 39 EU. My heel was over the back of the shoe by at least 1/2 inch and they do feel a bit narrow. 39 1/2 might work so I can try that but likely 40 would work well … not available in black right now. 39 is going back for sure.

beautiful shoe

Absolutely love this beautiful shoe. I had to size up one size. I’m a true 38 and got 39 and lost out on my 10x points because of sizing. But it will be my spring and summer staple. Love the heel height. Makes you feel elegant but not uncomfortably high.
