Jasmine Eyeshadow Duet

I really liked the colors, but I had trouble opening the container every time. Maybe it was something I was doing incorrectly, but one day I opened it and the entire eyeshadow disc flew out, hit the counter and floor. Eyeshadow was everywhere. There was nothing left, so I had to clean it up and throw it away. I had only used it four times.

I love Chantecaille, and I had my eye on these shadows for a while. I finally pulled the trigger and picked it up today, and I’m disappointed to say that I am completely underwhelmed by the matte shade in the Jasmine duo. This is way too expensive to only like one of the two shades, so I will be returning it promptly.

Yes these are more basic colour shades however they will work with all eye colours and are very versatile. The quality of these eyeshadows is the usual high standard of Chantecaille but these ones last really well. The formula is beautiful these are more highly pigmented than some of the recent trio or quad palettes. I have extremely sensitive skin on my eyelids and these eyeshadows are gentle enough for me to use. They glide on I use both a brush and or fingers to apply and they blend out beautifully and last. They are not the cheapest but I always use up any of my Chantecaille eyeshadows they are so worth it especially if you have sensitive skin.
