Isla Maxi Skirt

I waited quite a while for this skirt to come back in stock in my size and ordered it as soon as it did. The fit is great and I love that it has pockets. However, based on the photos, I was expecting a satin finish or at least some sheen to the fabric. In person, the material is completely matte, which makes the overall look feel much more plain than expected. On me, it leaned more “period drama tavern worker” than modern wardrobe staple. If you are specifically looking for a skirt for that type of role or cosplay, this would absolutely work. For everyday wear, I personally was hoping for something with a bit more texture or visual interest.
