Albany Platform Pump (Women)

I wasn’t sure if the look was on trend for me looking at the pictures but…I love these shoes. I will say that there’s not enough pictures shown of people wearing the shoes to properly give people an idea on a look. They are comfortable and easy to wear. I am such a sucker for cognac or tan color shoes and bags so I was going to make them part of my collection anyway, especially at this price point. I went back and purchased these in black as well. It’s for those who like wearing a walkable heel. Very stable, not too stiff, leather does scratch or scuff easy which is a double plus.

These are very cute, and relatively comfortable. The platform sole is hard and stiff, so walking is loud on uncarpeted floors. My heels pop out a bit even with thick socks, but the laces keep my feet in the shoe (I probably could have gone down a half size). The second day I wore them I lightly hit the front of a cement step with one shoe and it scuffed the leather, unfortunately.

These shoes are so cute with a retro vibe. The sizing is really off for me. I am a true 7 with a normal to narrow foot. I had to go all the way down to a 35. I bought the 37 which was way too big! I bought the 36 and my heels were still sliding out. The 35 fit a little snug but after one wear they fit perfectly.
