The ceremony centers on palo santo, traditionally gathered only after it has naturally fallen and aged, its concentrated oils releasing a cleansing plume long used in rites of purification, entwined with swirling incense and the cooling intrigue of rosemary, lavandin, spearmint, and pine. Altar lilies promise eternity, as their powdery undertones merge with airy muguet, while a gentle glow of pink grapefruit radiates alongside the bite of clove leaf and black pepper. The ambered warmth of frankincense and myrrh gather the smoky, herbal, and resinous, and spice elements into a unified close. In the end, spirituality speaks a single language – a desire to connect with something deeper, sacred, and unseen.
