Upper: Engineered mesh breathes easy as it flexes and recovers from every stride. Rubber toe cap protects against rocks, twigs and trail debris. Padded collar and tongue ensure secure, distraction-free lockdown.

Midsole Drop: 8mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Lower: Plush foam cushions every stride, even on uneven surfaces. Multidirectional lugs provide secure footing on changing terrain.

If you really have wide feet this show although cute just doesn’t cut it. New balance has a more accurate width.

Achilles Heel FAIL - Hoka design lousy again

This is not my only pair of running walking trail shoes. Worn very little. Failure after little wear this morning- see tread in photo& also failure point. I thought there was a thorn in my sock pressing on interior Achilles where narrows to the heal. NO - not that - the foam loft had lost its shape (crushed) along a seam - it feel like hard plastic painful poke. This is the second pair (similar Hokas) with similar failure. I’m leaving review here on Nordstrom, where purchased, because I was unable to leave a customer service email at Hoka; website does not give option. Hoka, if you see this, I have loved arahi 8s - & had 2 pairs. I am very extremely disappointed with the lousy product development in the current trail running offerings. Nordstrom should not be eating these loses. It’s even worse if you (Hoka) know about this problem.

comfortable but..

Had these for two months and I noticed the bottom tread started to loosen. I’m not a runner, I’ve just walked in them. Now we are 5 months in and the whole bottom tread fell off today. Love Hoka and this style, but that’s disappointing. I will be returning.
