Upper: Double-jacquard mesh breathes easy as it flexes and recovers with every movement of your foot. Padded collar and tongue provide dynamic, comfortable lockdown.

Midsole Drop: 8mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Lower: H-frame™ architecture promotes a smooth entry into the gait cycle and keeps your stride gently stabilized and aligned. Dual-density compression-molded EVA foam provides lightweight, full-foot cushioning. Excellent for a Woman with Bad Knees
I am a big woman (5'8'/230) and need to reduce the heel to toe drop due to osteoarthritis in my knees. I chose men's Hoka Arahi 9.5 D since I am a 10.5-11 women's shoe and for lower heel to toe drop and stability with firm cushion. The shoe box is very adequate, the heel is kind but grippy and the heel to toe drop is 8mm, a huge difference from wearing 20mm. I love them thus far. My knees are so much happier. And they are light for hot weather in So Cal and I like the blue. Nordstrom is the best place to buy shoes, too.

Very Nice Light Sneaker
I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but my local Nordstrom didn't have any in stock. Then I remembered the video on Nordstrom's website stating Hokas tend to run a half size small. I had already left the store, but returned and asked if they had a size 8. They did and it fits great. I bought these specifically because they're supposed to be great if you have knee pain. Yep, that's me. Time will tell if they help.
