Hila Water Resistant Slide Sandal (Women)

First time trying this brand. These are just my first impressions from trying them on at home: the straps are snug but cushy. The foot bed is also very comfortable with great flexibility which provides better support compared to sandals with a stiff hard sole. I like the black color, but I wish the straps were also all black underneath rather than grey...it's a very small detail but I think it would look a little more modern without that grey lining peaking out from under the straps. Fit wise it's ok but not the best. I'm a 6.5 in most styles of shoes..but can do a 6 depending on the brand. These were not available in half sizes, so I got the 6. My heel sits right at the edge (see pictures). I'm afraid going a size up a size at 7 will be too long and there is already some empty space above the toes but I couldn't scoot my feet up more due to my width. My feet are slightly wide but definitely not abnormally wide and as I mentioned at the beginning I find the straps on these to be too snug.. I've only had them on for a few minutes but I already feel my circulation on the top of my foot getting cut off haha...I'm not sure if this sensation will go away when walking in them but I'm willing to give them a try. Will try to update after I've walked in them for extended periods of time. My hope is the straps will stretch out more with wear and mold to my foot better.

These sandals are a dream. I bought them for a sunny vacation, 7 mos pregnant, my low back and arches don’t get sore when I wear them all day! I’m going back to buy another color. The downside to the cloudy color is they do pick up scuffs and marks easily but them seem to scrub out pretty well. Worth the money!

I love the sandals, but I only gave it a four star because I am a true size 7 1/2 and I bought the size 8. The size 8 seems a little large, but I didn’t want to return it and find out that the seven was too small. I am keeping the size 8, because even though it is slightly big, I haven’t tripped or found it uncomfortable with that extra space in the front of my toes.

I hate wearing sneakers but want comfort. I have Birkenstock Arizona (soft sole) and Madrid but I didn’t think they’d be comfy all day at Disneyland and I wanted to wear a sandal bc it was going to be warm. I read the reviews for the Hila and decided to take a chance. They exceed the hype. I have a wide size 8 foot, low arches, and plantar fasciitis. I had zero issues with these slides as far as comfort and support. I plan to get in all 3 colors. Bye, Birks!
