High Waist Wool Wide Leg Pants

I bought these plus the Superfine Merino Turtleneck Top in Regenerative Wool, both in the color Biscuit, to wear as a semi-dressy outfit, which I've now worn for a dinner out and a classical music concert. Both pieces are comfortable, drape nicely, and keep their shape. Most importantly, I can wear them without a base layer underneath. I have sensitive skin (hives, rosacea, eczema, etc.) so I was half expecting to try them on, start itching, pack them back up and return them because I find most wool, even cashmere, to be irritating worn next to the skin. The pants are prettier in person.

I’ve been a loyal Nordstrom customer for years — I buy most of my clothes there — but this experience has completely changed how I see the company. I returned an item worth $268, with proof it was delivered back to them, and they still refused to issue a refund. No help, no accountability, just silence. Apparently, this happens a lot during the holidays — they “lose” returns and customers are left without their money. It’s really sad when a brand you’ve trusted for years starts playing games with honest customers. I guess I’m out nearly $300. From now on, I’ll be shopping directly with Eileen Fisher — at least they stand by their word.
