Monterey Stripe Cotton Funnel Neck Sweater

I have the black and silver Monterey and am awaiting the arrival of the beige and gold & green and gold sweaters. I am not sure how they got lumped in with the striped Monterey, which is also beautiful but not dressy. The holiday Montereys are simply beautiful, they should take you in style to every party or special event. The Monterey sweater is unlike anyone else’s design with the exposed seam and the subtly different fit. The cream and gold sweater is not flashy, just the right amount of sparkle to me, I call it quietly elegant The green and gold sparkles beautifully. The neck on the Monterey is snug going over your head but should be comfortable once on. I put a plastic bag over my head when putting it on so as to protect the sweater from makeup stains. It is a funnel neck, which is very on trend right now and flattering to just about everyone. The sleeves taper at the elbow and will be snug, as in you can’t roll them up. It’s a very feminine effect. The line on the body is very flattering and the back of the garment has the tiniest flare from the body, sort of like a whisper of a cape effect. These aren’t trendy pieces and I expect to love mine for years.
