High Waist Roomy Wide Leg Jeans

I would have loved to keep these pants and would have if they were scaled down a quite a bit. There is so much fabric that even in a petite, the pants would swallow anyone my height. I am 5’2 and average weight, and I looked like a child in a parent's clothing. I would, however, highly recommend them for a taller person. The fabric is nice. The weight and color are nice and they are cut to the waist, which I think is most flattering. They would work well for many occasions. I am in my 70s and live in a warm climate where styles skew to the casual end. I have found in this and in previous seasons that the choices in pants/slacks are either too voluminous or skin tight. A nice classic look would be most appreciated. I hope to find a similar pair in a more suitable silhouette.

It was love at first sight so I purchased a black and an indigo pair! These trousers are sophisticated, flattering, and fun. I look forward to wearing them out!

Sometimes things are exactly as they seem, and these denim trousers are a good example. They’re extra wide-legged, long, and high-waisted. You can also size down to make them look more like jeans, than baggy pants. I got the medium indigo, which is a classic denim blue. Also, these are not lightweight denim, stiff, and they taper a little at the ankles, so expect them to sort of stand on their own. I think to balance out the style, they pair well with a blazer, or cropped jacket. It’s also so nice to find taller lengths, although I’ve seen disappointment from petite reviewers- these are worth hemming, if you like extra high-waisted, and are an apple, or a pear. I went into the store with something else in mind, but it was a love at first sight situation. I think these will only appeal if you already love wide-legged pants, and unusual styles for denim.

others have said these pants are too wide, but I really like the width, and especially the length (31" inseam). They are so comfortable, and look polished not sloppy. Perfect with a jeans jacket, a crop top, and cute sneakers.

Love the pants but wish I’d gotten one size smaller because of the higher content of spandex. After one wearing they’ve stretched out a bit.
