High Street X Sneaker (Women)

I had high hopes for this SAS sneaker but was very disappointed. The shoe is well made and has a spacious toebox however it is extremely heavy and lacks flexibility. I felt as if the shoes were walking me and I was clomping along in their wake. This is the second type of SAS sneaker I have tried and have found the same problem with both.

It's hard to find fun to wear shoes that work for my hard to my fit feet (one is half size longer and almost full size wider than the other) and also help with my balance and gait (I have had multiple sclerosis since college days) that are cute to boot. These caught my eye in Sagebrush green for being the latter and they are comfy to wear too. Wide rounded toe box to accommodate my wider of the two "duck shaped" feet (wide at front and narrower at back) without being too big for the other. I need true lace ups in a show, not designs with faux-laces that are actually slip-on and these lace with a fun design of grommets at the lace holes. This is my second pair of SAS shoes in 8.5W and I've been happy with both for design details and material quality, arch support and stability even though the brand doesn't have a lot of flex in the shoes.

I have a very narrow foot, so these were a tad wide. I'll have to wear socks. That said, a beautiful shoe. Well-made and a wonderful color (sagebrush). The color is very neutral. It's a heavy shoe with a nice lift. It's not flat to the ground and hugs your arch. Very nice look for a sneaker.

I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis in both feet for over a year, and these are actually comfortable and well-fitting And one of the most attractive shoes I've found that also feel cute & youthful. I found them true to size (I have a wide forefoot and narrow heels) and wear a US 10W/EU42, and when shoes aren't wide enough, I have to go up a size. I love the gold, but the beige rubber soles and beige laces are not that attractive in my eyes- a crisp white would be abetter. I'm thinking about buying them in black for the winter.
