Lilja Waterproof Raincoat

Helen Hensen is amazing product. If you have ever worn one and caught caught in the rain you will agree. I got this in bright yellow and then found the yellow sorrel boots. the boots run small or short in the toe. the raincoat is pretty true to size but not generous. if you want to layer under go a size up. Bought his for a trip to Norway in August.

VERY glad I purchased this jacket prior to my trip to London. Not only was it waterproof but windproof as well! I stayed warm and dry throughout a weeks worth of rainy days. There isn’t much lining, I did layer. The fit is great, true to size. I liked the length as well, and very good quality. Highly recommend.

This coat has pluses and minuses. I would prefer the hood to be detachable. Sleeve cuffs are elasticated. Love the snap feature added to the zipper. Pockets are cozy. Love the subtle branding on the sleeve. Overall this is a nice coat. I returned this in favor of another HH style that has detachable hood and snapped cuffs. I really appreciate Nordy’s return policy which makes shopping on line easy.

I love the look of a trench coat but I live in a place where it actually rains and a “cute” coat is worthless unless it actually does something! I’ve seriously been looking for months and SO happy I finally found this. Has held up well the first couple times I wore it, is nice and spacious so you can wear chunky sweaters under it if you need to but also feels a bit more elevated than a completely function driven raincoat.

I haven’t worn this in the rain yet but the quality and weight of the material feels solid. The coat fits true to size and I can easily wear a sweater underneath without it feeling too boxy. I’m 5’4” and 140 lbs and purchased a medium. It is slightly large in the shoulders, but I have small shoulders compared to my hips. The length hits about mid-thigh on me. The hood is detachable with snap buttons, and nice and large. The sleeves have a single button closure for tightening, or they can be left open for a more relaxed look if rain isn’t heavy.
