Helium 800 Fill Power Down Hooded Jacket

I've had this jacket for about a year now, and I really like it. It's my everyday jacket. It has plenty of loft for warmth without being bulky. I had to size up to fit my shoulders and arms (I'm 5'10" with broad shoulders) which makes it a bit too big in the waist but that seems consistent across a few OR jackets that I have. This quirk of the fit is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It has held up well with daily use in cold weather. The hood is a great fit and blocks the wind well without falling in my face. It sheds light precipitation with the different fabric on the shoulders. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a new puffy.

Bought this jacket because I trusted the description was accurate. This is not an 800+down fill jacket. There is zero loft to this jacket. It is not warm. At best it might be ok in 60 degree or warmer weather. I have owned several nice down jackets from other manufacturers and this jacket by far does not compare in quality—it is the worst value. Save yourself the time, hassle, and headache of returning and skip this super thin jacket.

Very disappointed with this jacket. 800+ fill diwn is a complete lie. This jacket has exactly zero lift. This jacket might be a 100-290 fill but there is absolutely no way it’s an 800+fill down jacket. I have Marmot, Northface, and Rab Electron Pro jacket and my other JCPenney jackets are far, far, far superior in terms of warmth as they actually have a considerable amount of down in the jackets. Make sure you see this one in the store before buying. Not worth the large price tag. I’m returning this one!

Very warm and comfy jacket that fits well. I wear a 4X and this is true to size. The colour options are great! OR gifted this to me but I wouldn’t be reviewing if I didn’t like this jacket. Highly recommend if you live in a colder climate. Only con is it doesn’t pack down small due to it being warmer.
