Heiress Plunge Neck Long Sleeve Fit & Flare Dress

First - house of cb is a hit or miss, I love that I can order from Nordstrom because I always love how they look on the model but very rare do they transfer .. it deff snatches but the clasp at the top isn’t very strong and pops open, the color is almost shiny, which makes it look a little tacky, the skirt is too much for someone whose 5’2, and finally, the sleeves are just TOO long! Wanted to love it, it deff has potential, I just feel like for my height it was not suitable.

House of CB dresses are cute and sexy. This particular dress runs a little smaller than given size chart. I initially bought an XS and could not zip it beyond my waist. I returned the XS went up a size to Small, and it fit better but the button at the top won’t stay closed although it zipped to the top. I will get Nordstrom alterations to fix/replace snap button or add a hook & eye in that closure. Overall, it is a very pretty dress and if you include a black mock neck bodysuit underneath, it suddenly becomes work appropriate if you work in office. Keep in mind the dress does have weight to it and is lined so definitely not made for wearing in warmer seasons but perfect for winter!
