Not at all what I expected.
The fabric is stiff (for the lack of a better word) and not cozy or comfy like I expected after reading the reviews. I bought it for my granddaughter and I know she will not wear it. The color is also somewhat misleading

love the color but
Love the color and the fit bit it’s super itchy. I don’t know if I should keep it and clean it to try and soften it or return it cuz who likes an itchy sweater? This is my first Madewell purchase and sort of disappointed. I also probably should have got a medium but they were sold out.

so scratchy
Material is a hard pass for me, so scratchy I didn’t even want to try it on. Large is a little big, have a medium on the way but will also be returning it because it’s way too scratchy.

Stylish, but itchy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the cream color with intention of wearing with skirts or jeans, since the color is complimentary to anything.
I like the details on the sleeves, they add a little extra to an otherwise plain sweater. The wool content is less than 50% but I found it itchy, so I'll at least wear it with a cami or slip under.

Lovely but runs quite large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous color with just enough detailing to keep it interesting. Runs quite large, even the size small was oversized on me but I don't mind. I pair it with some dark sage cords for a monochrome look.

Amazing quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got two of these sweaters in different colors and get compliments all the time. SUCH good quality. I wear a tank top underneath so it’s not itchy at all.
