Touch Feeling Tank

I have purchased many tank tops from different brands and materials. Their prices varies and Hanro brand is the priciest I ever heard and purchased. The reason tank top prices varied is because of their material. Hanro brand made out of 'polyamide elastene' are durable, wash well and do not fade compared to other tank tops made out of cotton or polyester. I highly recommend this brand and to extend the life of this top, wash it in a mesh bag and do not put it in the drier. One more thing, I purchased size XS and felt too tight. I exchanged it for size S and still felt too tight. I tried size Medium and felt better despite that I am normally size XS, Petite frame and weight 110 pounds. Tank tops for daily wear should not feel 'tight' or block blood circulation in my opinion.

It’s difficult to give Hanro failing marks; I have owned several pieces from the Touch Feeling line of Hanro, the fabric is deliciously smooth, as is the effect it gives on my body, the fit is superb, but from time I have experienced a ridiculous amount of pilling on the tank shirts. Pilling is caused by friction, I wash mine in a lingerie bag, on gentle, in cold water and I always turn the shirts inside out....well I wore this three times with a well fitted v-neck over it(so no rubbing) well sure enough the amount of pilling made the shirt look like it was years old and mistreated. The reason I buy top quality clothing and shoes is because if you take care of things they will last for years to come,, unfortunately it’s not the case with this. What’s odd is that I own two of the Touch Feeling Crop Tops(bralettes) and they get a lot more than the tanks and yet they never pill.

This tank top is ridiculously smooth and soft, doesn’t ride up, and stretches comfortably. However, be prepared for a lot of side bulge. This tank runs small and fits snug as other reviewers have noted (VERY small, try sizing up as many as two sizes from your regular sizing) — but it’s not a control top or Spanx. I’m a little soft, reasonably fit (5’6” 132 lbs) and yet have side bulges and armpit bulges with this item, which I got in a Medium. I tried the Small first and it was bonkers tight. With a medium, the fit is better so that I’d feel comfortable layering this, but for casual wear alone, I would honestly have considered getting it in large if I hadn’t already exchanged the item once.
