There are great details and the dress is super soft. The buttons are cute and the cuffs. The length is right past my knees. I think it would be a cute coat honestly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so in love with this dress! It's very well made, with beautiful touches like the gold buttons and the H emblem on the sleeve cuffs. I can tell this dress will hold up a lifetime. The fabric is thick and sturdy, genuine suede scuba that is stretchy and soft against my skin. It's comfortable to wear and versatile, one of the nicest pieces in my wardrobe. I'll be wearing it both as a dress and a jacket this fall. I got a size 6, which is my usual size and it fits me perfectly. I feel classy and pretty when wearing this dress- it's something I will care for and love. I hope to add more Halston pieces to my wardrobe.

It is a button down, shirt dress style and would be great for a more casual office or evening outing. And it is the perfect color and fabric for fall. Unfortunately, it seems to run a bit on the smaller size and did not work for me. Also, I did not care for the faux leather trim and the “H” on the sleeve.

The sizing was spot on and hugged my curves. I love the belt, it adds that extra squeeze in the right spots. The only reason I took away 1 star is because I wish the dress was a bit shorter, I am not very tall (5’3) so it covers too much of my legs. But other than that I highly recommend !

The suede is very good quality, not too heavy at all. You need to get it dry cleaned but it’s easy to get stains off. I really like it but only thing you need to watch out is the sizing. I wear small and got small but it’s too big. You need to go one size down.
