cute dress, very small waist

I really like to dress, however for the price point it seems a little outrageous, it is unlined, and there are no pockets. The extra small, my normal size was very tight in the waist. I could try it in a small, but I'm afraid it would be big all over. Doen sizing can be all over the place.
