Gino Loafer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I read the Gino loafer ran small I adjusted and sized up. With that, it is an extremely comfortable shoe that I can imagine wearing all day at work or out exploring on vacation. My wife wanted a shoe that could be dressed up or down and these shoes definitely have that flexibility. The sole having that classic sneaker grip will also help walking around coastal towns where the ground can get a little more slippery.

Fantastic casual loafer for resort wear ! I can't wait to wear then in Southern France.

Nice shoe. I went with the navy blue. Buyer beware: these fit small. I typically wear a 10–10.5, but I ended up with an 11 after returning a 10 and then a 10.5. Even the size 11 is still a bit snug in the toe. Not only are the shoes shorter than a typical men’s size, but they are also relatively narrow. The supple suede material gives the impression that it will conform (or deform) to the shape of your foot. AE sizing is annoying. I recently bought the Winston in a size 10, and it fits fine. I said I’d never buy AE again after a bad experience with the Randolph loafer last year (size 10.5), which never quite fit properly. AE didn’t provide a satisfactory resolution, which ticked me off as a regular customer. Nevertheless, provided AE continues to release attractive shoes and maintain hassle-free returns, I’ll likely keep coming back for more. Size up on the Gino—probably a full size.
