Details & care

Navy Italian wool makes a versatile staple of a sport coat tailored in a comfortable fit with light padding in the shoulders emphasizing the traditionally fitted waist. Fully lined, it adds an elegant finish to your semiformal and cooler-weather looks.

Fabrication: Wool is the most common of suiting fibers, with durable, flexible properties that help formalwear maintain its shape. Naturally breathable and water-resistant, wool retains heat when it's cold and vents heat when it's warm.

Formality: Semiformal occasions that require you to look on the casual side of well-dressed, including daytime events, business-casual meetings, work travel and social functions

Disappointed

Went to the Men’s Department to purchase a Sport Coat. Salesperson had me try on many jackets until one seemed to fit best but still required alterations. When I went to pick up my purchase it was apparent that the alterations were inadequate to say the least. So, the salesperson called on another Tailor to re alter the jacket. The discussion actually questioned the sizing of the jacket from the get go. The Tailor did say that the end result would be less than perfect, but an improvement. He was right. Three trips to the store, and the expense of the alterations later, I have my Sport Coat, but am not fully happy with the experience!

A lighter shade of blue

This is a beautiful jacket but the blue color isn't really navy, as shown in the photo, it's quite a bit lighter. It wasn't what we had in mind so we returned it.

Ran small and narrow

Bought this for my husband and it ran really small and narrow. Was thinking it said a classic fit, so maybe I received a miss-sized blazer, but not willing to go thru the return again.

Peter Millar classic fit wool blue blazer

I liked the jacket but found a better fitting comparable jacket at a significantly lower price on sale at Macys so I returned the one I had purchased at Nordstrom.

Fits small

Despite ordering my usual size, it fit too tight.
