Gilly Corduroy Ultrawide Leg Pants

I love corduroy. I saw these pants on line. I loved the look and flow of these pants. I purchased these pants in a size 10. ( I usually wear a size 8 -10) in designer clothes. Firstly, They arrived with an unattached waist button that was floating around in the box. Loved the colour and feel. I tried them on and they were ridiculously long. I'm 5'9". Definitely need to be altered. And absolutely way too small in the waist and rise area. (Hence the missing floating button in box) Total wedgie wear. I love the basic look of the pants but I have to return them. $795.00. REALLY????

They fit TTS per the max mara sizing guideline. They are beautifully tailored with a flattering fit. Yes, they are very long, with possibly a 40" inseam, but if you zoom in you can see that even the model's pants have been hemmed. The hemline is unfinished but not frayed, so would definitely need hemming to make it look professional. I think they're overpriced since the material isn't very thick and the pants are unlined, but the style and fit are so beautiful that it may justify the price for some. For reference, I am 5'5", 125 lbs, 25" waist, 36" hips, thick thighs, long legs, short rise/torso and these are very flattering on me.
